Level Up: Explore Skilled Trades *

Join us in the CFI for a work-at-your-own pace class on skilled trades basics with our new virtual learning platform!

Interested in skilled trades or just want to learn how to do some home maintenance? Join us in the Center for Innovation's Virtual Reality Studio and peruse our skilled trades curriculum catalog!

With our virtual learning platform Skill Mill, participants can access courses in a variety of fields regardless of ability level – watch introductory videos for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical; or dive into more complex content with VR simulations.

Our catalog offers instruction in both English and Spanish for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, solar, facilities maintenance/hospitality, multi-family facilities maintenance, appliances, residential construction, and safety, so register today to learn a new skill.

This program is designed for participants 15 and older, and most content is available in both English and Spanish. There are 8 stations/headsets available at a time, so we recommend registering to guarantee a spot.
