Meet the Author: Lauren Tarshis, Author of "I Survived" *

True Lit 2026

Lauren Tarshis, author of the I Survived series, will take us us behind the scenes of her writing process, showing how an author “goes back in time” through research.

In this dynamic and interactive presentation, Lauren Tarshis will share how she brings history to life in the I Survived series and what inspired the stories and characters readers love.

This presentation is family-friendly and open to all ages. The event is free to attend, but tickets are suggested. Tickets will be available starting October 22 at 7am.

Pearl's Books will be onsite with books available for purchase, and a book signing will follow the presentation.

True Lit is in collaboration with the Fayetteville Public Library and the Fayetteville Public Schools.
