Portrait Photography Basics *

Join professional photographer Mary Beth, as we explore tips and techniques to get that perfect portrait!

Do you struggle to take professional looking portrait photos? In this class Mary Beth Breshears will teach effective techniques that will take your portrait photography to the next level! You’ll learn how to set up the scene and place your subject within the scene. Learn about posing, lighting, backgrounds and the rule of thirds. All cameras are welcome and yes, even your iPhone. The best camera is the one you have on you! 

Mary Beth has more than 13 years of experience in the creative arts and 10 years of teaching experience in public schools, honing her craft. Starting in corporate product photography, she transitioned into capturing the magic of weddings. Mary Beth crafts photos that blend quirks with elegance, ensuring each day is authentically tailored to the couple.
