Come join us for two exciting performances of chamber music by the Khemia Ensemble.
Derived from the Ancient Greek word χημεία (chemistry), the Khemia Ensemble is a contemporary chamber music ensemble based in the United States that consists of artist educators who believe in representing a diverse range of voices in contemporary classical music. They dedicated to reflecting broader perspectives in contemporary classical chamber music by presenting engaging performances, commissioning new works, and mentoring the next generation of musicians. You can find them online here. The two programs they are bringing to the library's event center are listed below.
June 24 – Missed Connections
Presented by the KUAF/Fulbright Summer Chamber Music Series
Missed Connections, a program of contemporary chamber music for subsets of Khemia Ensemble, reflects the emotional impact of unexpected encounters and the elusive attraction that follows. June 26 – Stillness/MOVEMENT
