Craft your brand story and connect authentically through video in this two-hour workshop, covering strategy, content creation, and genuine engagement.

In this two-hour workshop, we will begin strategizing how to bring your brand story to life. We'll discuss the basics of video for different outlets your audience will be wanting to find you, as well as what to say when it's time to hit record. We'll talk through what your audience is waiting to hear from you and how to get your message to them in a way that builds true community and authentic support because you're showing up in a way that is genuine to who you are and sustainable through any season of business and life that you're in.

About the presenter

Jessica Whalen is an empathetic storyteller whose mission is to create space for people to feel seen, celebrated, and worthy through filmmaking and visibility + messaging strategy. With over 10 years in business, her focus has always been on using the medium of filmmaking to shine a light on stories and voices that might not be seen otherwise because they feel too "ordinary" (even though there's no such thing). She firmly believes that interacting with stories activates empathy, connects us to the world around us, and reminds us that we're not alone, and is committed to celebrating that power through her work. Whether it's telling the stories of people in love, organizations changing the world, people chasing what sets their soul on fire, or creating for creativity's sake, she approaches it all with a sense of intention, empathy, and curiosity, knowing that's where the moments of honesty and beauty collide. She's here to empower you with strategy to show up, bravery to be seen, and knowledge that you’re worthy.
