This class is intended for those interested in recording in the Audio Recording Studio in the Center for Innovation.
This orientation is a hands-on experience that will familiarize the user with our specific studio and provide a basic Pro Tools overview. All studio users are required to complete this orientation before using the space and equipment.
In this course, users will learn how to:
+ Navigate the patch bay
+ Set up a Pro Tools session
+ Power and set up microphones
+ Set up and save files to the AVID Nexis
+ Operate the studio with proper etiquette and care
This is a basic course that will orient patrons to the equipment and tools available in the Center for Innovation.
