This class will show attendees how to enhance the advertising of their events using Canva, and explores how AI affects arts and culture.

The Basics of Canva– Is graphic design getting you down? Does the term "bleed" catch you off guard? Presenter Olivia Walton will lead a hands-on workshop to level up your marketing material using Canva, a free graphic design tool.

BE SURE TO BRING YOUR WORKS IN PROGRESS. The speaker will provide a basic overview of how to use the tool before helping you whip your current projects into shape.

Intro to AI– AI is already all around us, from Siri or Alexa giving you a weather update, Grammarly reminding you where to insert your comma, or Spotify's Discover Weekly, but do you know how it is affecting arts and culture?

Join Orson Weems, Executive Director and co-founder of the Music Education Initiative and File.Baby, a platform that secures digital content authenticity and provenance and protects your work form AI consumption, for a discussion of the wide reach of AI, what to know now, and how arts and culture managers and creators ought to be engaging with artificial intelligence.
