CFI: Koenig Family Fabrication & Robotics Lab (1st Floor)

Get into the holiday spirit by designing and burning your very own laser-engraved ornament!

Create a custom design to be cut and engraved on the library's very own CO2 laser engravers! No prior experience with the lasers is required, staff & volunteers will be present to walk participants through the design process, sending files, and operation of the machines.

Our laser software supplies thousands of photos and clip art images that can be used for the engraving. If time allows, it may also be possible to engrave a photo/graphic of your own saved in the form of a .PNG, .JPG. or .SVG. These images can be brought to the class via flashdrive or downloaded from the cloud.

Participants under the age of 13 MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult.
