NWA Bitcoin will present a lecture and Q&A exploring the basics of cryptocurrency, with a focus on bitcoin.

Learn about the basics of fiat vs hard money from NWA Bitcoin. The lecture will cover:

  • Basic monetary principles, different types of money (historical and modern), and how traditional fiat money is created, flows, and operates.
  • A deeper dive into bitcoin, how the bitcoin network operates, the incentives that keep it moving, and the properties that elevate it above other currencies.

The lecture will be followed by a Q&A.

Matt Gannon currently works in corporate finance after receiving his PhD in Psychology/Neuroscience at the University of Arkansas. He has been a Bitcoin holder and supporter since 2017 and is representing the NWA Bitcoin group to educate and spread awareness about Bitcoin.
