Curious about “the cloud” and how it powers the apps, websites, and tools we all use every day?
This beginner-friendly class breaks down the basics of cloud computing—what it is, how it works, and why it matters.
You'll learn what cloud computing is in plain terms and discover the cost-saving and efficiency benefits of using the cloud. You'll also get an overview of the three major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud) while exploring core services like compute, storage, and serverless architecture.
This program is presented by Hogcloud, a Fayetteville-based cloud solutions provider.
As a bonus, stay for the second half to follow along with the instructor for an interactive demo of setting up an AWS account and a walk through of exactly how a website is hosted in the cloud.
This class is perfect for small business owners, students, entrepreneurs, and educators—no tech experience required.
All abilities are welcome. For disability accommodations, call 479.856.7050 or email centerforinnovation@faylib.org 2-3 days before a program.
This program is designed for participants 13 and older.
