Ever have more milk on hand than you need? Ever been curious about making fresh cheese?
In this class we will learn how to prepare fresh ricotta cheese using a few simple household ingredients. Once you've made and tasted homemade ricotta, you won't want to go back to the storebought variety! We will also discuss various recipes and presentations for your ricotta, both savory and sweet.
Please be prepared with the following safety guidelines:
- Hairnets and aprons will be provided. You may wear a clean hat of your own if you prefer.
- Long hair should be restrained.
- Please wear long pants and closed-toed shoes.
