Learn how to use embroidery stitches and felt to make your own strawberry pincushion!
Join us as we sew a sweet little strawberry pincushion, a classic symbol of summer, just as summer is coming to a close. We will be hand-sewing these together using felt and practicing a few embroidery stitches, including a French knot, lazy daisy, and simple gathering and running stitches. Come as you are, no experience needed, and you will walk away with new sewing tools or at least a strawberry or two.
This program is free but registration is required.
Jessica Robin McClendon grew up in NWA and has been sewing for over 20 years and teaching and sharing sewing for five.
