CFI Advanced: 3D Printing *

Want to dive even deeper into 3D printing? This class will cover advanced slicing techniques, multi-color printing, repairing 3D models, tips for manufacturing & prototyping, and more!

This class builds upon the fundamentals discussed in Learning Lab: 3D Printing and dives deeper into more complex printing techniques, slice settings, and applications. We will explore a wide range of topics such as... 

• Customizing supports & improving first layers
• Multi-color & multi-material printing
• Flexible/composite filaments
• Designing considerations and repairing meshes
• Smoothing & texturing techniques
• Wacky 3D printing: photographs, metal, clay, chocolate, and more! 

This class is also a great time to ask questions or share your own 3D printing experiences with our growing community of makers.

Please note: This class is not the same as Learning Lab: 3D Printing. This class does not replace the orientation or grant participants the ability to use library 3D printers.

Learning Lab: 3D Printing is not a prerequisite for this class, though it is recommended for beginners.
