Documentary filmmaker Larry Foley presents his latest film spotlighting the life of Jim Blair – James Burton Blair, Nothing but the Truth: The Improbable Life of an Arkansas Giant.
Jim Blair is an Arkansas icon. In his 90 years, he has befriended, mentored, and worked with a rich cask of monumental Arkansas and national decision makers, including business tycoons, politicians, and even a president of the United States. As corporate attorney for Tyson Foods, he worked with Don Tyson in turning the company into the largest poultry producer in the U.S., and one of the most admired companies in the world.
A dedicated philanthropist, Blair provided the largest-to-date monetary gift to an Arkansas public library which built Fayetteville Public Library's Blair Building. His hometown of Fayetteville is where his lifelong love of books and reading was cultivated.
