Join us for the second of three events honoring Agatha Christie, the Queen of Crime. 2026 marks 50 years since the death of Agatha Christie, the best-selling fiction writer of all time. This lecture will focus on the true crimes that inspired some of Christie’s books, and also touch on her writing career, popularity, and influence on crime novels and pop culture throughout the years.
Dr. Kayser is an associate professor and Medical Humanities program director in the English department at the University of Arkansas. She has taught classes on Agatha Christie novels and crime fiction.
