The idea behind Feldenkrais® is to feel how we move and to learn to use that awareness to find more efficient and pleasurable movement choices.

Instructor Anita Schnee has recovered from a devastating back injury thanks to Feldenkrais®. The work is about feeling how we move, with maximum ease and comfort, and using awareness to find more efficient and pleasurable movement choices. The movement is extremely gentle and within the range of ease at all times. It is all about thinking intelligently and independently, by way of a gracious and kind physicality. This work uses movement to improve awareness. It is not a substitute for medical treatment or therapy. Move slowly and gently, with no strain or undue effort. Many people experience greater ease and well-being, but we cannot guarantee those results in every case.
