Super Saturday: Be(A)ware Allergy-Friendly Halloween Event: Spotlight Characters presents "A Toy Story", followed by a Halloween Costume Parade and Trick-or-Treating
FPL is excited to partner with Big Box Karaoke and Hedberg Allergy & Asthma to bring the Be(A)ware Allergy-Friendly Halloween Event to the library - get your costume ready for this unique celebration!
The event will begin with a 'A Toy Story' performance presented by Spotlight Characters. Everyone's favorite Round Up Cowboy and Space Ranger come to life to spend an afternoon with their fans.
Following the program, all of those in costume can participate in a parade around the children's library. The costume parade will be livestreamed on FPL's Facebook and YouTube pages so friends at home can share in the fun.
But our Halloween celebration isn't over yet! After the parade, kids are welcome to visit various allergy-friendly trick-or-treat stations around the library. In Be(A)ware's first year at the library but third year overall, this event has created a fun, inclusive and safe space for kids who suffer from food allergies and kids who don’t.
