Watch a 40-minute excerpt of "The U.S. and the Holocaust" followed by a panel discussion.
Courtesy of Arkansas PBS, the library will screen a 40-minute excerpt of the latest film by Ken Burns, The U.S. and the Holocaust. The film recounts the 1939 voyage of the M.S. St. Louis, a ship filled with Jewish refugees who were refused asylum in the United States. There will be a panel discussion following the film excerpt.
This and other upcoming library programs about the Holocaust are happening in addition to AMERICANS AND THE HOLOCAUST, a traveling exhibition from @HolocaustMuseum and @ALALibrary, which is being hosted by Mullins Library at the University of Arkansas later this year.
