J.B. & Johnelle Hunt Family Gathering Glade

Join Amtgard from the Kingdom of the Emerald Hills, a local live-action roleplay group for a full day of workshops, demonstrations, and battle games!

See below for the full schedule. Be aware that some events require registration that can be done on the linked event pages below. 

10–10:15am: Opening Ceremony (no registration required)
Join the live-action role-players on the Gathering Glade. 

11am–4pm: Drop-in Gathering Glade activities (no registration required)
Meet the Amtgard Live Action Role Play group and participate in Battle Games training. Learn the rules of LARP and practice your foam archery and sword skills. Cosplayers welcome! 

Noon–3pm: LARP Day Photobooth (no registration required)
Drop by the Center for Innovation Photo Studio and have your picture taken with medieval and fantasy live-action roleplay accessories. 

11am–1pm: Boffer Safety & You (Ages 13+)
Learn about safety and construction of boffer foam weapons. This workshop will be lead by medieval/fantasy live-action roleplayer Baronet Drakel Pazitorin this hands-on workshop.

11am–1pm: Woven Paracord Bracelets (Ages 13+)
Weave paracord bracelets in the Teen Project Room with medieval/fantasy live-action roleplayers Esquire Amser Starseer. 

Noon–1pm: Costume Tips & Tricks (Ages 13+)
Learn about the difference between historical and fantasy garb and how they differ between LARP groups with medieval/fantasy live-action roleplayer Tiarne Shrooms Myceliain!

2–4pm: Peg Weaving (Ages 13+)
Join medieval/fantasy live-action roleplayer Tiarne Shrooms Myceliain and learn peg weaving and watch a demo on transforming raw fiber into a weaving in the Art & Movement Room.

2–4pm: Foam Dagger Making (Ages 13+)
Create foam daggers with medieval/fantasy live-action roleplayer Drakel Pazitor in this hands-on workshop.

4–4:30pm: Battle Games on the Gathering Glade and Closing Ceremony (no registration required)
Closing ceremonies and battle games to end the day!
