This series blends principles of yoga and Pilates to help you move more freely on and off the mat. We will explore our relationships with our bodies as we tend to our bodies with self-compassion and movement. This class is dynamic and emphasizes principles of alignment and mobility. No prior experience in yoga or Pilates is necessary; plenty of options and modifications will be offered to meet you where you are in your movement practice.
Kayce Hyde Brott is a 200-hour certified yoga instructor, and she currently teaches Pilates and yoga at the University of Arkansas. Kayce is also a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at the University where she studies emotion and self-compassion. Kayce incorporates therapeutic principles and her research on self-compassion into her classes to help guide her students towards a greater acceptance of themselves on and off the mat.
