Medieval/Fantasy LARP Day

Join Amtgard from Kingdom of the Emerald Hills, a live-action roleplay group for a full day of workshops, demonstrations and battle games!

See below for the full schedule. Be aware that some events require registration that can be done on the linked event pages below. 

9 a.m.–4:30 p.m.: Photobooth (no registration required)
Drop by the Center for Innovation Photo Studio and have your picture taken with medieval and fantasy live-action roleplay accessories.

10–10:30 a.m.: Opening Ceremony
Join the live-action roleplayers on the Gathering Glade. 

11 a.m.–1 p.m.: Drop-in Gathering Glade activities (no registration required)
Events will include belt weaving, wood burning, dragon making, metal jewelry/paracord, leatherworking, chain maille, weaving and stamping coins.

11 a.m.–1 p.m.: Foam Dagger Making
Create foam daggers in the Fab Lab. 

11 a.m.–1 p.m.: Paracord Bracelets
Weave paracord bracelets in the Teen Project Room.  

11 a.m.–1 p.m.: Backstrap Weaving
Learn backstrap weaving in the Art & Movement Room. 

2–4 p.m.: Drop-in Gathering Glade activities (no registration required)
Events will include belt weaving, wood burning, dragon making, metal jewelry/paracord, leatherworking, chain maille, weaving and stamping coins.

2–4 p.m.: Metal Jewelry Making
Make metal jewelry in the Fab Lab. 

2–4 p.m.: Basics of Lettering & Calligraphy
Learn the basics of lettering and calligraphy in the Teen Project Room. 

2–4 p.m.: Medieval/ Fantasy Cookie Decorating
Decorate cookies in the 641.DELI seating area. 

4–5 p.m.: Battle Games on the Gathering Glade and Closing Ceremony
Closing ceremonies to end the day.
