Join us for music making and learning from the experts as we explore topics in hip-hop.
Did you know Chance the Rapper recorded his first mix tape at a public library? This could be you, if you join us for this program that explores topics on hip-hop and music that include: beat making, sampling, song writing, and more. Local experts will share their techniques and methods, and the library will supply the tools and resources to bring your music to life.
This session will explore beat making with SewL0. Be sure to also check out Songwriting with Kevin Contra on March 8 – more info here!
This session will be livestreamed!
This workshop takes place in the Center for Innovation Audio Recording Studio, so space is limited.
Registration will open three weeks prior to the event date – don't forget to sign up!
