Fayetteville Public Library
J.B. & Johnelle Hunt Center for Innovation (1st Floor)w/ Rusty Rainbolt
Interested in learning how to create 3D designs for prototyping, 3D-printing, or manufacturing? Join us as we go over the fundamentals of Fusion 360: one of the most popular CAD (computer-aided design) applications used today.
Using Fusion 360, you can create fully customizable models, renderings, and animated parts that can be used for various applications. To provide a complete introduction, this class is broken into two parts. Please plan to attend both sessions:
- 10/17 - Session 1: Creating a free Fusion 360 account and covering the fundamentals: sketching, extrusions, and holes.
- 10/24 - Session 2: Building off of part one, we move into lofts, rails, and assembly mates. By the time you finish this class you will be able to turn your ideas into basic moving models.
This program is designed for participants 13 and older. Ages 10-12 are welcome to join if accompanied by a responsible adult.
All abilities are welcome. For disability accommodations, or to cancel your registration, please call 479.856.7050 or email centerforinnovation@faylib.org 2-3 days before a program.
Models made during this class can be printed using the library's 3D printers at a later date. Click HERE to learn more about accessing these free resources.
