Professional nurses and community educators from Washington Regional Medical Center specialty clinics will offer a series of health presentations. Don't miss this opportunity to interact with health professionals and learn more about some common health issues that effect many of us in the community, our friends, and loved ones. Each presenter will offer Q&A time with attendees. No appointment, no insurance, no money required!
The Stroke Education session will be presented by Matthew Daniels and Geneva Sutton. The Trauma Education session will be presented by Brittany Berryman. The Joint Education session will be presented by Michelle Runke. The Spine Education session will be presented by Molly Schoonover.
Matthew Daniels, BSN, RN
Matt is a registered nurse who started his career in Memphis, TN and received his Bachelor's in nursing at Arkansas State University. His background is in emergency medicine. After relocating to NWA in 2021, he spent a year as a travelling nurse. Since Spring 2022, he has served as a Stroke Program Coordinator for Washington Regional Medical Center. Matt currently lives in Springdale with his wife and two children. He is passionate about bringing stroke awareness to his community.
Geneva Sutton, BSN, RN, ASC-BC, SCRN
Geneva is a registered nurse who started her career in Jonesboro, AR after receiving her Bachelor's degree in nursing at Arkansas State University. She began her career in the intensive care unit but transitioned to stroke program coordinating shortly after relocating to Fayetteville. Geneva currently lives in Fayetteville with her husband and dog. She has been a Stroke Program Coordinator for Washington Regional Medical Center since November 2020. She currently holds two advanced board certifications in the stroke field and has a passion for stroke education and community outreach.
Brittaney Berryman, RN, TCRN
Brittany Berryman is a nationally certified Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN) with a background in emergency and trauma care. She began her career at Washington Regional in 2016 in the Emergency Department and transitioned to the Trauma Department in 2022, where she now serves as the Trauma Educator. Brittany earned her nursing degree from Northwest Arkansas Community College and is passionate about education, trauma care, and injury prevention. She is a proud mom and enjoys spending time with her daughter.
Michelle Runke, MSN, RN
Michelle is a registered nurse who started her career in Fort Smith, AR after receiving her associates degree at Arkansas Tech University and since has received her Bachelors in Nursing from Western Governors University. She began her career in the medical surgical department and transitioned to joint program coordinator after finding a love for with working with joint patients. She has been the Joint Program Coordinator for Washington Regional Medical Center since September 2019 and been with the organization since 2016. She is a mother of two children, as well as one furry companion.
Molly Schoonover, BSN, RN
Molly is a registered nurse who started her career in Joplin, MO after receiving her Bachelor's degree in nursing at Pittsburg State University. She started her nursing career on the med-surg unit and further transitioned into working in the operating room. This is where she found her love of nursing and passion for spine surgery. After relocating with her family to Northwest Arkansas, she continued her career becoming the Spine Program Coordinator at Washington Regional Medical Center. She has held this role since January 2021. Outside of her professional career, Molly is a wife, a mother of two children, and has one dog. Molly has a passion for educating on the importance of spine care and what WRMC can not only provide for it's patients, but their families and community.
