Author Angela M. Johnson guides new writers toward self-publication, exploring both the creative and technical aspects involved in the process.
Bringing to the table knowledge, skills, and experience gained over three years of self-publishing, Angela M. Johnson will help attendees identify the type of writer they are, discuss the resources necessary to write a book, stress the importance of a first draft, establish their chosen genre/sub-genre, know when they have a finished manuscript, and think about their why for writing. The session will also guide new writers through the technical aspects of handling a finished manuscript. This workshop will be interactive and feature time for questions and feedback.
